INTERNATIONAL (ADR) KEMLER CODE

Vehicles running under
International ADR regulations will carry a three-digit Code, referred to as
the Kemler Code. This code will give the Fire and Rescue Service further
information about the hazards involved in dealing with the material.

Some Hazard Identification
Numbers (or Kemler Codes) have special meanings and indicate a particular
hazard or combination of hazards.
